What types of fobs can you copy?
We copy most 125 kHz tags and only MiFare 1K Classic 13.56 MHz fobs. Not compatible tags include HID iClass (Blue Keytags) and Salto Access cards. Check Locations here!
What tags are NOT supported?
We cannot support certain high-security access tokens, including HID iCLASS (blue tags), MIFARE DESFire (DF), Salto, and KanTech cards — we cannot duplicate these.
Do I need to bring my original fob?
Yes, we must scan the original fob to create a clone.
How long does it take?
Most copies are done in under 10 minutes. Delivery may take longer depending on location.
Why does my copied high-frequency fob stop working while the original still works?
Some condo systems periodically update high‑frequency fobs, which can cause copies to stop working while the original still functions; this is normal and the copy simply needs to be re‑scanned and duplicated again. Please send an email to info@lakeshorefobs.com, and we'll update your tag.
